Feral Cat Shelters

Had a nursing cat show up in the summer of 2008 and by the fall of the year she and her 4 kids had moved into the barn and were doing a fine job on the mice population control. Wanting to keep them around over the winter so I did a bit of research and located several sets of plans on the net and once I settled on one I set about building a pair for use on the back poach.

Build an inexpensive cat shelter plan at FeralCat.com

Have been using both for several winters and they are working out fine, so I thought I would share a short write up and a few pics of the finished product.
